Once I have made a booking, how long will it take for my advert to appear in print?
All Categories of advertising work on a 3 day deadline. So for example if you would like your ad to appear on Friday, you should book it no later than 6.30pm Tuesday prior. Should you have any queries or need your ad to appear sooner, please call our sales team on 0191 2067123.
Can I cancel my booking?
Sorry, but all bookings cannot later be cancelled or exchanged.

What are the payment options that you accept? We accept the following payment methods for online bookings:
Maestro / Switch
Solo
Mastercard
Visa credit / debit
Visa Electron*
We also accept cheques, cash and postal orders where bookings are made at our front counter, via post (Newcastle Chronicle and Journal Ltd, Groat Market, Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear NE1 1ED), or over the telephone (0191 2067000 weekdays 9am , 5pm). However, please note that standard rates apply for non-internet bookings and there will be a slight time delay before your advert appears, as payment will take longer to process.

Is online payment secure?
Yes! The part of our website which asks for your payment details is encrypted, which means that your details cannot be viewed by anyone other than Barclays Bank who handle our online transactions.
Look for the padlock symbol on this part of the website and notice that the address starts with https://
Do I have to put my contact information in to the advert?
You can include as much contact information as you like in your advert, including telephone number(s) and email address. However, if you feel uncomfortable about your personal contact details being published, we can replace the telephone number(s) that you provide with another number (which starts 07092). This will re-direct the caller to you! This service is not currently available to book online. Please call 0191 2067000 during office hours for more information.
Why do I need to provide my address?
Occasionally, it may be necessary for us to contact you in relation to your booking. We will not supply your details to other companies, or contact you about things other than those relating to your booking.
My advert does not appear to have been published , why?
In the unlikely event of your advert not being published, you are best advised to contact us either by completing the feedback form on the website, or by calling us on 0191 2067000, so that it can be fully investigated.
I am having technical difficulties with the website , such as error messages and broken links. What should I do?
There could be a number of reasons behind this, which we will need to look in to. Please contact us using the feedback form, providing as much detail as you can about the problem.
